Good evening everyone! I hope your day or night (depending your time zone) is going well. I had a full day, but still have just enough energy to post this article.
I didn’t work out today, but I had a feeling I was going to skip the gym when I went to bed last night. I will be waking up at 4 a.m. again tomorrow. I’ll be laying out my clothes as soon as I finish this post.
The weather was gorgeous in New York today. When I was coming home I saw someone kayaking on the river. I definitely can’t wait to bring my own Kayak (Lucy) out of hibernation.
My boyfriend gave me Lucy as a gift last summer. I named her after the Cactus in the movie Kalifornia, which Juliette Lewis hides in her purse. I’m not in Lucy in the photo above. Lucy is actually red, but I don’t have a photo of me in her. That photo was taken pre-Lucy, a week or two before she arrived. That Kayak has no name because is belongs to my boyfriend’s brother. Maybe I’ll call it Herbie, just so it doesn’t feel left out.

Thank you, Netflix! Without your instant queue I would have never fell in luv with the ever creepy (but sexy) Early Grace. Oh, FYI: I also have a thing for the character Dexter.
Last summer I took Lucy out at least once a week. kayaking is such a fun way to work the arms. When I can start adding it back into my routine I’ll feel like the warm weather is here to stay.
Now, onto the eats of the day. I had a soy latte in the morning, complete with coffee art (a heart). Shouts out to Kendra, one of my local Baristas. I also had a Kashi bar. I grabbed a salad late in the afternoon, which contained avocado, chickpeas, carrots, beets, and tofu. In a few minutes I’m going to have the remainder of a protein shake I made last night.
Speaking of shakes, look what I found on Pinterest!

How good does that look?
Now I have to get my stuff ready for tomorrow. Goodnight, everyone. Oh, and of course, let me know how your day was!!!

I didn’t work out either, third day in a row
I had a migraine all day, so I went to sleep around 8:00pm instead of working out.
I ate two eggs, spinach, red pepper, and provolone cheese for breakfast, a handful of fruit and nut mix and ceviche for lunch, swordfish, mussel’s and corn on the cob for dinner, and 4 Oreos for dessert (processed, but its that time and I NEEDED chocolate lol.)
I know exactly how you feel. Chocolate is necessary (in my opinion) during that “certain” time.
I’ve never had a migraine, but I’ve heard they are terrible. I can’t say I blame you for skipping the gym. I dated a guy who would throw up when he got migraines. It was awful.
